Angela Trotta Thomas is an American fine artist who studied art at Marywood University, where she enrolled in a program called “Get Your Master’s with the Masters.” She has been painting Lionel trains for almost 30 years, and she has honed her skills by focusing on traditions handed down through generations.
Angela’s paintings have been featured on national magazine covers, catalogs, and even on Lionel train cars, for whom she is a licensed artist. She has been recognized as a leading artist for her work, and her paintings have been featured in Everhart and Smithsonian museums. Her paintings have been adapted into a range of products, and are also popular with collectors of Lionel trains. Her boxcars feature operating couplers and metal sprung trucks.
