In the painting “Mediterranean Archway,” boats sail through a blue Mediterranean sea, while colorful flowers grow in pots in the foreground. This painting is one of his most popular, and was presented to astronaut Neil Armstrong during his Apollo mission. The painting’s subject matter is unrestricted, capturing the essence of the Mediterranean region.
In addition to painting landscapes, Zaccheo also paints vibrant seascapes and port cities. The luminous colors of his work are accentuated by water as if it were a mirror.
